Eton Properties Philippines Inc., the property arm of business tycoon Lucio Tan, yesterday unveiled the master plan for its 12-hectare mixed-use development project at the corner of Edsa and Quezon Avenue.

Eton president and chief operating officer Danilo Ignacio said in a briefing that the project, called Centris, would contain at least seven office buildings catering to business process outsourcing companies, 10 residential condominiums, a hotel, a hypermarket and commercial strip.

Ignacio said total investment would cost more than P3 billion.

Phase one of the project includes development of one 12-story BPO building, called One Cyberpod Centris, with a gross floor area of 18,000 square meters.

Ignacio said Eton hoped to complete the building before the end of the year.  The company is in talks with at least a dozen potential locators.

Phase two involves the construction of Centris Walk, a high-end dining and retail strip that will feature a wide variety of upscale restaurants and bars as well as top brands and retail shops.

Centris Station, which will be the project’s main shopping area, will have SM Hypermarket as anchor tenant.  The area will have direct link to the Metro Railway Transit 3 station and feature retail stores and other conveniences.
